SketchyMedical uses in-depth story lines to plot out specifical diseases and topics that you’ll need to know. Generally each topic will be broken down into a certain section of each sketch. For example, the characters representing drug side effects will be clustered together and interacting in our sketch.
We like to compartmentalize each topic and use specific symbols across all sketches to make learning easier. This allows for rapid diagnosis of the problem in front of you and a quick elimination of answer choices!
When there are related concepts running throughout multiple videos, we make sure that everything you learn is congruent. This allows for symbol association, giving you an edge on questions that rely on association.
All our SketchyMedical videos begin with a blank canvas. From there, we walk you through our memorable story one element at a time, that way you’re never overwhelmed. Each item you’ll need to memorize will be assigned to a memorable part of the sketch, making it easy to recall
what each item is later!
We utilize diverse story lines that span all genres of literature, art, history, and entertainment. Here at SketchyMedical, we believe it’s easier to remember what you’re learning when it’s linked to a story or topic you’re already familiar with.
